With the release of the new movie “The Bucket List” starring Jack Nicholson & Morgan Freeman there has been a lot of talk lately about making your own bucket list. A bucket list is a list of things you want to do before you die or hit the bucket.
Here is my list:
- Cruise to Alaska
- Cruise through the Panama Canal
- Travel to Australia, Chile, India, The Netherlands, and an African Country
- Work full time for my church
- Venture into politics (thinking I would like to be mayor of a small town)
- Pastor a Community of Christ Congregation
- Lose Weight
- Get Married, have children (at least one being adopted)
- Get my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree
- Read the Bible, Book of Mormon, and the Doctrine & Covenants from cover to cover
- Help build a home with habitat for humanity
- Attend the CMA Music Festival
- Learn Spanish and Sign Language
- Do humanitarian work in a impoverished country (either in South America or Africa)
- Visit the Kirtland Temple
- Vacation in Maine
